2026 IFC Recruitment Application Is Now Open!

Register for IFC Recruitment

How Do I Join?

IFC fraternity recruitment is an informal, 365 year-round process that resets at the start of each Summer. To get started, please complete the IFC Recruitment Application. While there is no deadline for fraternity recruitment applications, we recommend completing your application as soon as possible to maximize your options for potential chapter membership.

Fraternity Recruitment Teams are made up of current members of the chapters who will have access to your application once it is submitted, and will begin contacting you after they have reviewed the information you've provided. You may be invited to attend activities ranging from sporting events to open houses for both you and your parents. You should visit as many chapters as possible in order to make a well-rounded and informed decision when it is time to accept a bid (invitation to membership).

Check out the IFC Chapters webpage to learn more about the 25 men's IFC fraternities at UNL.

Then What?

After you've explored various IFC fraternity chapters, they may offer you a "bid". A bid is a formal invitation to join a fraternity. Once you've signed the bid card, you pledge your membership to that fraternity.
